Silvergate Kennels is located in beautiful Ennismore, Ontario. Ennismore is a small rural community where our three children have grown up enjoying the lake and countryside. Our property consists of 102 acres of fields, forest and a beaver pond. It is a little slice of heaven here on earth. We all enjoy it. Breeding Labs is a dream I've had since falling in love with the first Lab we owned. Calico was a beautiful black with strong hunting skills. She loved and was devoted to each of our children. She, like the labs we have now, knew all the most important rules for being a good dog: love your people, cuddle with them when they feel sad, show them how happy you are when they come home, keep an eye on the kids at times, stay on your property, and don't "GO" in the house.

So now we have our own Labrador Retriever Kennel and we are all excited about this new adventure. Our hope is to bring healthy, happy Labs into the world, care for them, socialize them and then link them up with people who will treat them well and love them. Studies show that people with dogs are healthier and happier than those without. We want to help you be happier and healthier.
